Hawwa S. Frazier Head, DO

Dr. Hawwa S. Frazier Head is a board-certified family medicine physician and the founder and owner of Head to Heart Family Medicine, LLC. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Howard University, followed by her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Frazier Head completed her internship and residency training at Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Islip, New York, and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

With over 18 years of experience in private practice, Dr. Frazier Head is also a proud member of the Piedmont Clinic. Her passion lies in health promotion and disease prevention, with extensive experience in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, thyroid disease, arthritis, obesity, asthma, bronchitis, COPD/emphysema, and chronic pain conditions including neck and back pain. She also treats mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, insomnia, headaches, seizure disorders, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, and provides Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Frazier Head enjoys reading novels, interior design, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband and four children.
